Marla -
I am researching my great-great grandfather. Here is what I know.
W. H. Odom
Died in 1896 as the result of being shot on a train in a dispute with a man named J.D. Hudspeth.
He worked for the Central railroad as a section foreman
Wife's name - Mittie - unable to locate a maiden name for her
Lived in Hilton Town in Early County
I've found a couple of brief newspaper writeups about the shooting.

I'm trying to see if anyone else has come across this incidence and to determine if any court records may exist about it.

Thanks for any help you might give.

Mark McClellan (Millington, Tennessee)
