Dempsey Odom Macon Co., GA family history

Please help me trace my family beyond my great-great-grandfather Dempsey Odom. Maybe Baron Odom was his father but I'm not sure. From Dempsey down to me this Odom branch lives in the Ideal-Macon Co. area. Our courthouse burned in the mid-19th century and destroyed all records. Dempsey's wife was Martha. My connection from Dempsey to me (wife): Dempsey (Martha), Ed (Nancy), Reuben (Ernestine), Reuben Ed Sr. (Myra), then me Reuben Ed Jr (Amber).
