Hello Halldor: If you go to www.infoplus,ee, which is the telephone book for Estonia, and type in Oder, you will find about six pages of Oders, mostly living on the island of Saaremaa. They may be distant relatives of yours. In Gdansk, Poland, there is Joanna Oder (+58-3018805), Ryszard Oder (+58-30290540, Barbara Oder (+58-3443097), and in Torun there is Romuald Oder (+56-6489475). Elsewhere I have mentioned the Polish monseignor Slawomir Oder, who is in charge of making Pope John Paul a saint. He lives in Rome. Cheers, Phillip Herring (my mother was Velma Oder).
