Hello,
I am hoping that someone among you might have some information regarding the family of John Oder born about 1785 in Maryland or North Carolina. My line of descent is William G.(being my father) > Arthur V. > Thomas J. > Thomas R. > Joseph T. > John Oder. My father's information is sketchy on precedent generations but this is what I have been told; two identical twin brothers came to America after wedding two identical twin girls in Ireland - these brothers Oder would have arrived on the east coast at a major port. From my own research I have uncovered a "Hans Oder" and "Frederick Oder" both arriving in the port of Baltimore in 1725 - but here's my problem - I do not have any information on them, their children/descendants. If any one can help it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
