Your William Oder's parents were Joseph Odor, Jr. and Elizabeth "Betsy" Barnes. Joseph Jr was born on August 3, 1751, in what is now Fauquier Co., Va. He married Betsy about 1775. They had 9 kids; your William was about fifth in the line-up. Joseph Jr was a tobacco farmer and Revolutionary War soldier in Va. He moved to Ky. about 1788, first to Bourbon Co and then Harrison Co., where he also farmed tobacco. Betsy died in Cynthianna,Ky., before 1835. Joseph Jr. died between 1835 and 1840. Sources for this are land and tax records in Fauquier County, census records in Harrison Co., and Joseph Jr's Rev. War pension application.
Joseph Jr was the oldest son of Joseph Odor, b. bet 1715-1730, d. abt 1810. Joseph Sr had the 9 kids listed in the followups to your message. Joseph Jr was his first kid. Joseph Sr had his younger children with a Nancy Moore, but she was not likely his first wife. As far as I know, no one has yet identified Joseph Jr's mother.
I don't know if your William married after Sally died. All I have is that the 1850 Harrison Co. Census shows him as a single man living with James Oder's family.
