Here's an update on this question. I am now no longer sure that I am a descendent of William Odeon/Odom IV which means I can no longer "prove" descent from William Odeon I. I still believe my line is descended from William I but I no longer have the proof that I thought I had from research done earlier by another person due to a reinterpretation of a will in 1794. I am a proven descendent of Moses Odom (ca 1729 - 1792) of Northampton Co.,NC. That doesn't necessarily disprove my theory but we need more Odoms to get their DNA analyzed to tie in various lines
