I have Dempsey Oden (b. abt 1798) married to Rebecca Cabiniss (b. abt 1800). This is from the 1850 Census for Plantersville. Polly is assumed to be dead prior to 1850 since minor children are living with Dempsey and Rebecca with no sign of James W. Peeples. It is possible that Dempsey's full name was William Dempsey Oden.
