Carol, I have been reading the Odell family forum and find that you are connected to Nathaniel Odell. I have him listed in our family history as the son of Augustine and Lydia Newman Odell. Nathaniel (b:6/4/1816 NY; d: 8/19/1882 IA) married Mahala Brace (b:11/26/1816 NY; d: 4/8/1884 IA). They had 9 children as far as I can tell. Elisha Brace 1839; Emily E. 1842; Julia Ann 1843; Jeremiah Nathaniel 1846; Arvilla U. 1847; Mary E. 1849; Caroline Amelia 1851; Elanora (sp?) 1853 and Orville B. 1858. All of the children were born in MI except for the youngest and he was born in IA.
