I've done a bit of research since I posted here 1 year ago. My direct line is:I am David Louis (Vallejo, CA) (b. 9-26-1956) Married to Linda Sue Kralicek (Omaha, NE) (b. 7-5-1958) (married her cause i couldn't spell it, smile) My Father is David Edward (Vallejo, CA) (b. 9-2-1938, d. 1-21-1991) Married to: Marjorie Marie Bates (Huthinson, KS) (b. 5-24-1937) David Edward's mother and father are Frank E. OR Ed OR Edward Elmer (Sonoma, CA) (b. 8-4-1873, d. 9-4-1928) Married to: Rosa May Gibbins (AR) (b, 6-8-1876 d. 10-6-1968), Frank's father and mother were Simpson G. O'Dell (OH) (b. 5-22-1822, d. abt. 1880) Married to: Susanna Boggs (IN) (b. 8-16-1829, d. 3-12-1890). Simpson's father and Mother were Rev. Thomas Sharp O'Dell (Shawnee, KS) (b. 1-22-1796, d. 7-23-1861) Married to: 1) Nancy Drake (Zanesville, OH) (b. 7-15-1795, d. 5-10-1844) 2) Mary A. Cavanaugh (VA) (b. abt. 1800) Thomas Sharp's father and mother were Nathan Garrett O'Dell (VA) (b. 11-9-1772, d. 9-28-1835) Married to: Rebecca Sharp (VA) (b. 7-3-1778, d. 9-26-1835) Nathan Garrett's father and mother were Rev. Thomas O'Dell (VA) (b. abt. 1746 d. unk) Married to: Elizabeth Garrett (VA) (b. abt 1751, d. unk) That is as far back as I can get as of this time, 2-16-2007.
I know that is a bunch of information, and my O'Dell line has scooted around the country alot (the original family folklore was that GGF Frank and GGM Rose had come from ireland . . . I've discovered that is incorrect!) But if ANYBODY has ANY other information that could take my direct line back futher, I would certainly appreicate it. I do have some of the indirect line too, but that would have created a novel here, I'm really striving to go futher back or possibly get in contact with others from the lineage.
