In trying to help a "cuz" find her Odell roots, checked Family Tree DNA, found an Odell project. There are several Odell projects. It doesn't really matter which you check, if you make it clear when you send in your sample that you want to be compared with everyone in the Odell db. The "Odell" (presumably USA) has one participant. The site does allow you to upload your earliest known patriarch and descendants. All you NY>Shenandoah Valley, VA>Cocke Co., TN>MO>TX who are seeking roots, please consider this. It has been invaluable on my Nelson line, my Brown line, and my husband's Johnson line.
