I am searching for data on the family, in particular the sons, of James Odell, who died in 1806 and had a will that named his sons: John, Abraham, Jeremiah, Isaac and Samuel.
My last known Odell ancester was Abraham Odell, who died 1854 in Pulaski Co, VA. I am certain Abraham came out of Shenandoah County and reasonably sure James was his grand father. Evidence indicates that his father was Jacob, who was in Shenandoah County living next door to James in 1800-1802. However, James did not have a son named Jacob, unless he had a second wife, not yet identified, leaving Jacob to be a grand son.
