Odell Father and Son killed in NYC train boiler explosion

I am trying to locate family members on my father's side of the family from upstate New York. Looking for info on Charles S. Greening, Bertha O'Dell, John O'Dell and his son who were killed in a boiler explosion on (I think) the NYC train. The only other information I have is that at one time my father and his family lived with relatives on the Tonowanda Seneca Indian reservation near Batavia, NY. I also understand that some of his relatives also had a patent involving a gypsum mine sometime around the early 1900's somewhere in Genesee county. My dad is the last of his generation, and the last of his side of the family that I know that is living. He's going to be 80 this year, so ANY HELP WITH ANY OF THESE PEOPLE WOULD BE ENORMOUSLY APPRECIATED.
