My GGrandfather William Odell, prob. Coldspring, Putnam, NY married Marian/Marina LaForge. Mom says Marian. Living Daughter says Marina, born France. Grandfather George Benjamin Odell b:1870 Cold Spring, Putnam 1870-1926 married Anna Root, b:1875 in NYC, direct decendant of Thomas Roote, Badby, Northampton, UK b:1549. Geo. B. had two brothers, Ullmann Ernest Odell (I) ( m:Mabel Pyrke), and William (II). George B.Odell had Edward Root Odell 1899-1918,(died of flu while preparing to ship out for WWI), Eugene Irving Odell d:1939, Evelyn LaForge Odell 1910-1986, Minnie Odell 1910-1971, George Lester Odell, my father 1901-1964, born Dumont NJ where family moved around turn of century. They were known to be farmers. 1901 Census search shows Ullmann Ernest Odell (I?) in Putnam Co., NY. Siblings all moved to Kingston, Ulster, NY from Dumont NJ late 1920's-1930's perhaps after father died.
If anyone has the time to look these people up for me I would greatly appreciate it. I'm currently unemployed, 22wks and SS is months away. I'll return the favor somehow.
