Hi:) I want to say right now that I do not claim to "know" anything about these messed up Sherman/Odding/Chase/Wilbore people, LOL, but . . .
Having let you know that, I will make a vague suggestion: there is a convaluted connection between Sarah Odding and the Wilbores that leads me to the following (pure) speculation: could your Samuel Wilbore, husband of Mary Sherman, be a son of Samuel and Ann Smith Wilbore? I know that Samuel and Ann had a son, Shadrach, who was born ca 1631. Since Mary Sherman was born in 1639, a possible brother of Shadrach would be the right generation. As I say, this is pure speculation, as I don't even know if Shadrach had a brother!
If you think this is a real possibility and would like further details of the Wilbore-Sarah Odding connection, please let me know here or e-mail me.
