In My book 'Our Roots Under The Rock', An O'Connor family History 1833-2006, which starts with my gggggrandfather Bryan O'Connor who left Kerry for Tipperary in the 1800's.
I have an obituary notice of Mrs.M.McDonnell of Listowel who died in 1913, she was nee Anne O'Dwyer of Upperchurch,Co. Tipperary. Anne McDonnell's sister Margaret was second wife to Christopher O'Connor brother of my greatgrandfather John O'Connor of Cashel/Cahir.
In Mrs. McDonnell's obituary notice the following were among the chief mourners were Michael McDonnell son, Mrs. McDonnell daughter in law, Catherine Quirke sister, May Neville, Tralee;Thomas O'Connor, Michael O'Connor, James O'Connor, Chapeltown,W. O'Connor, P.O'Connor, Delia Griffin, T.P.O'Connor, Mrs. W.Dillon, Mrs.J. McDonnell, Murphy,Denis Murphy. then it say's;
It would be out of the question to give anything like a full list of those present the funeral was so large.
The McDONNELL'S were in the Cattle trade as were my ancestors.
Does any of the above information fit in to your research.
