I am looking for information on Thomas O'Connell's family history.
Grandfather: Thomas O'Connell date & place of birth unknown, he may have died in 1950/51 in NY.
Grandmother: Margaret Veronica O'Connell (possible maiden name Donahue). Place and date of birth unknown, death early 1980s in Vero Beach, FL.
Aunt: Margaret (Rita), born 1926, death 2003 Vero Beach, FL.
Mother: Jane Elizabeth, born 1928 Roosevelt, NY. Death 1976 El Paso, TX.
It may be that Thomas O'Connell worked in both the Manhattan post office and also at Madison Square Gardens, I do not know in what capacity. It may be that he had relations in Wisconsin.
Thomas and Margaret divorced (sometime between 1948-50) and she remarried Harry Panaccione.
Rita and Jane both attended Free Port Junior & High School 1940-46 . Rita studied Library Sciences and Jane worked at the Girl Scouts of America in NY.
Any information related to these people would be of great interest to me. I thank you for your input.
