I have had little luck with my Cronin's yet. I know that two cousins came to Australia in 1853 on the "Thames" Hannah Riordan/Reardon daughter of Ellen Cronin and Timothy Reardon and Mary Cronin. Hannah was born about 1829 in Macroom Co. Cork and Mary was born about 1831-32 she died on the voyage. They were assisted passengers and I know Hannah worked as a domestic in Macroom and Melbourne Au.

Not unusual for families to have rich relations and poor.

The story handed down the generations was that Hannah was a cousin of Daniel O'Connell of course that could be 1st,2nd etc etc.

I would say our Cronin's are related but I am not sure where the connection starts.
