Mary Auckerman/Ockerman was likely the daughter of John and Annie Dorrethea Shaver Auckerman who also had 14 other children, many born in Adams Ct., Ohio. This couple was married in 1810 in Frederick Ct., Va. in the Shenandoah Valley and likely came to Ohio shortly thereafter. My gggrandmother, Julianna Auckerman Welch was Mary's younger sister. This Mary Auckerman married Penrod or Nimrod Conaway on Nov. 15, 1836 in Adams Co., Ohio.
