I am looking for information about John Ockerman of Cayuga County NY born 1765 and his family (parents, siblings, children). Our Ockerman family is from Canada stemming from John Ockerman and Margaret Vandeleve. John and Margaret were both born in the US (John in 1787 and Margaret 1790) according to the 1851 Canadian Census. But it doesn't say anything about their parents or where in the US they came from.
