The info I have on the Ockerman's states they Came from Germany in the 1700's and after a brief stay in NewYork. Setteled in Canada. till the mid 1800's and then moved to Michigan,Ockerman's are my Great GrandParent's on my Grandfathers Side. Lawrence Roomsburg.
