Ralph - many thanks

Your interest & knowledge greatly appreciated. My original message was posted to this site to trace descendants in USA. On this side of the pond, one of James & Anne's sons to remain in England - Peter (my ggfather) has just come to light in the IFHF RC Baptism records for Co Wicklow (published on-line only in the last couple of weeks)....
Baptised 21/10/1839Parish/District - AVOCA, Co Wicklow
Parents: James & Anne: SURNAME.........BRIEN

Griffiths Land Valuations features likely connections in Kilcoole, so looks like I'll have to get across to the NLI in Dublin
