I am researching the children of Patrick Obriant (c1740-1804) of Granville Co., NC. His son Philip O'briant marrie din 1801 to Lucy the daughter of Francis & Sarah (Royster) Bressie of Granville County. Granville tax lists indicate that Philip left that county by 1814, possibly for Orange County, NC. No children have been document for Philip; however, a Francis Bressie Obriant is found in Georgia and later Alabama who is a likely candidate for Philip's son. I would like to document all of Philip's children and find out what happened to Philip.
