Preston Dolphus and Mary Ida also had a daughter whose name was Mabel Lee (and that is the way it was originally spelled)and a son whose name was Charles Hart, Hart being Mary Ida's maiden name. My dad's name was Walter Preston, Walter coming from Mary Ida's side of the family.
Is there a book called "Geneology for Dummies"? If not, there should be because I don't even know how to really get started on my own paper trail. Everything that I have found has been because someone else was gracious enough to share their research with me.
Tell me about the DNA project that you referred to.
Phyllis
