FLOYD W. TABOR
Floyd W Tabor, 82. of 356 Schaum Ave., died at 9:15 am Monday at his residence after a short illness.
A retired grocer and former owner of Tabor's Market on Putnam Ave., Mr Tabor was born May 21, 1895 in Coffeyville Kan., a son of the late Francis Wolford and Laura Frances Lemon Tabor.
A 30-year resident of the community, Mr. Tabor worked as master mechanic with a railroad in Clarksburg, W. Va.He was well-known in bowling and CB circles.
Mr Tabor's first wife, Ruth B Powell, died Oct. 21, 1971 and a daughter, Mrs. Judson (Annabelle) Lighthizer, died last April.
Surviving are his widow, Cora McGrath Tabor, whom he married in 1973; a son, William F. Tabor of Miami, Fla, a daughter, Mrs. William (Jo Clair) Drummond of Westminster. Calif.; three brothers, Fletcher, Sam and Virgil, all of Coffeyville; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs Ray (Mabel) May of
Pasadena, Calif.; two stepsons, Elton McGrath of 457 Stewart St and Ray McGrath of West Lafayette; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Wayne (Nina) Winner of McConnelsville and Mrs. Clyde (Jean) McNeish of 3690 Harmony Ln.; eight stepgrandchildren ana six step great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and Wednesday
at Bryan Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev Warren H. Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
