I called back the cementry & got the name of the funeral home that handled the arrangements. Unfortunately, they just bought out the funeral home in 2007 & does not know where the records are from 1962 but after talking to the lady there & explaining my dilemna she has agreed to call the old owners & see if they can tell her anything....Yeah...also the most ironic thing is the Mortuary I am dealing with is 5 minutes from where I lived for 48yrs but I have since moved out of state....I don't know why I didn't get this urge sooner.....I also found a inquiry on Genforum that was looking for relatives of my Mom & Dad and I responded to it but the post was done back in 1999 & I never got a response.....Brick walls, Brick walls, Brick walls......But I still have the LA County Library checking also so I might still get something there too.....Keep your fingers crossed.
