Funeral services for Dr. A. H.
Cockerell will be at 2 p.m. Wed-
nesday at McClure Chapel of
the First Methodist Church,
with the Rev. Edwin W. Parker
officiating.
Bearers will be John Lee Mi-
lam, Homer Leslie, Pete Akers,
Bill Holokahi, Bill Price and
J. L. EAdes. Entombment will
be in Hillcrest Mauseoleum.
Dr. Cockerell, D.O., 312 N St.
SW, was born Oct. 21, 1907, at
Winard, Tex. He was a grad-
uate of Baylor University, Os-
teopathic College, Kirkville,
Mo., and the Kansas City Col-
lege of Osteopathy and Surgery.
He was a member of the
American College of Endocrin-
ology and Nutrition; Oklahoma
Osteopathic Association, board
of Certified Obstetricians and
Gynecologists, Pi Kappa Alpha
Fraternity, and a member and
steward of First Methodist
Church.
He married Claudine Lem-
mons Cook at Denton, Tex., on
Jan. 13, 1962. He died her Monday.
Survivirs include his wife,
Claudine; a daughter, Mrs.
Catherine Bowman, Houston,
Tex.; three sons, Lee A., New
York City; Jerry D., Kansas
City, Mo., and William, Hous-
ton, Tex.; and six grandchil-
dren.
The family requests that any
memorials be made to the
American Heart Association.
