Robert Lee Klufa
Robert Lee Klufa, resident of Ponca City, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at the Via Christi Oklahoma Regional Medical Center. He was 73.
The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, in the chapel of Trout Funeral Home with the Rev. Fred Darkow officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Billings.
Robert was born on June 26, 1930, in Billings, the son of Frank and Mary Zeleny Klufa. He graduated from Ponca City High School and then attended Oklahoma State University for a short time. Robert was a farmer and rancher in Osage County for many years. He also enjoyed hunting and raising horses.
Robert is survived by three sisters, Ethel Jack of Wichita, Kan., Doris Melton of Overland Park, Kan., and Maryle Morrison of Oklahoma City; brother, Roy Klufa of Norman; nephews, Doug Klufa and wife Susie of Ponca City, Dale Milligan and wife Karen of Caliente, Calif., Brett Morrison, Del Weightman and wife Maryl, Marvin Klufa, Frank Klufa and wife Mary; nieces, MarySue Samples and Shirley White; and life-long friend, Thyra Wilson and family of Ponca City.
Casket bearers will be Marvin Klufa, Frank Klufa, Mark Wilson, Dale Milligan, Kyle Klufa and Matt Klufa.
Honorary casket bearers will be John Good, Scott Wilson and Clarence Wells.
