Crystal: We did meet at Joe and Helen's anniversary in Hartford City. You are Greg's daughter, correct?

I just came back from the Pulaski County, Indiana library with a lot of info and must get back for more. I did meet a woman there who will help me with lookups.

I found some more surnames that married into our clan: Stailey, Kelly and Sponenberg.

Your grandfather will be receiving a certificate in October as the oldest living descendant of Alvah Townsend (your gr gr gr grandfather on Ella's side) who served in the Civil War. Actually, he isn't the oldest living, but the only one that can make it.

Where are you with your research? I would love to compare notes.

Christine
