An additional comment on my previous post:
According to the records of the German Reformed Church in Shippensburg, PA, Margaret Oberlin was born to Frederick and Mary in 1799. While there certainly may an older child, I do not have records of such. I do not have birth date for Nancy, Catherine or Julia Ann. While this makes Mary a little young, it's certainly reasonable.
Since Mary was born in Maryland, It's most likely the couple met and married in Cumberland County. She likely didn't come with them from Lancaster.
