The Frederick in question was the son of Adam Oberlin and "Eve" Ensminger. He was born in Lancaster, moved to Cumberland County c1790, and then to Stark County, Ohio c1810. Frederick was married to Mary (last name unknown) from, I believe, Maryland. Frederick died in 1828 and Mary lived on in Richland County until around 1870.
Frederick was a member of the Kendall Community for a few years around 1826, along with Philip and John Wagoner, who's family intermarried and migrated with the Oberlins.
I do not know Frederik's specific date or place of birth. I hardly know anything of Mary, other than what I've mentioned here.
