My GG grandmother's name was Emma E. Ober and she was born in Palmyra, Portage county, Ohio on 25 july 1854. Her parents were James Madison Ober (Vermont)and Harriet Betsey Farrington (Massachusetts). They were married 1833 in Mass and I found them listed on the 1860 census in Ohio. Since the name is not that common, I wonder if there is a connection somewhere. What I think is odd is that they were married in 1833 and the first child listed on the census was born about 1844. I also noticed that the person you are looking for has the first name of Harriet. That is my GGG grandmother's first name.
