Hi Leigh, it sounds like the O'Barr line. They have Michael O'Barr as the proginator of their O'Barrs. He did have a son Robert, born abt. 1754 Ireland. This Robert did go to Tn., but I don't find a son name William born in SC. BUT! Robert had a son name Michael O'Barr, that had a son named William born 11 Jun 1801 in SC. He died 22 Mar 1862 in Hart Co., Ga., but his wifes name was Frances Adams. Well, it doesn't all seem to fit, but I'll have to thru some papers I have to see if I can find your Mary Elinder.
