Hi Carol,
In response to your inquiry on Benjamin O'Bannon I may be your cousin. My father was Samuel Lee O'Bannon. He had a brother named Benjamin (Benny) Irving O'Bannon. Uncle Benny was married to Shirley Fleisher and had 2 children, Dennis and Carol. Uncle Benny worked for the phone company. Mr. O'Bannon died in Canton, MS around 1948. Grandma Lou later married Shirley's dad Leo(1972). Grandman Lou died in 1991. Mr. O'Bannon's parents were Frank and Sarah (Sally). They lived in Carthage, Leake county, Mississippi. That is where they are both buried.
Jewel and Helen are still alive. My dad, Sam, died in 2003. If you think we are cousins, I'd like to chat with you. We have never met. I met Dennis once in Myrtle Beach, SC and once in Canton, MS. All I remember is he was really tall. Last Grandma Lou said was had remarried(3rd or 4th time).
