Hi Gerardo,

You and Esther are the first people online that I have yet come accross with Oaxaca ancestors. My great-grandfather was Miguel Oaxaca, born 1889 in Chihuahua, Mexico. His parents were Jose Fernando Oaxaca and Antonia Licon Oaxaca. I suspect that we are connected somehow as the dates the names and the locations are all very close and there are not many Oaxacas around.

I quite a bit of good informationmore on the Oaxacas in my ancestry because some of the older family memeber have been researching for years but we have not yet found anyone that we could directly connect to us vis the Oaxaca name. You and Esther are the first good "hits" I think we have had.

I have also posted a reply to Esther in hopes that I will be able to contact both of you and share information.

Regards,

David Licon
