I would appreciate it , if someone could help me.
I need information on Eleanor Oates (Oats) Born Ca:1795 believe in North Carolina.
She married Lewis Williams in 1810 In Kentucky (I believe Warren Co. Her gaurdian was Eleanor Carter. Was this her mother, who had remarried. Or was both of her parents gone & Eleanor Carter just her gaurdian?
About 1815 Eleanor & Lewis moved to Indiana, where they spent the rest of their lives.
