Hi

I'm looking for more information on Charles Oates's life in England before he came to Tasmania [Van Diemen's Land] as a convict in 1844. [He is my great great great grandfather and I'm writing a family history book about him.]

I'm wanting to know who his brothers and sisters were, who his children were and who they married [his wife was Elizabeth Basion, daughter of William Basion who was a shoemaker].

I'd also like to know about what school he went to and would love to take copies of any photos that anyone has of him or his family.
