I was looking around and came across the site http://www.genesconnected.co.uk
There were 712 Oates' listed on the site, some of whom were definitely related to me.
It looks as if the site relies on people registering for free, generating their own tree which in turn creates name enties on the overall site. To get anymore details on an individual or to be able to have more access to the site you have to suscribe, price £7.50 for one year.
Has anybody any experience/info about this site they'd like to share? I for one would be interested as there is a good chance that I could 'connect' through this site.
