Ancestors of James Oates, b. ~1660, Perranzabuloe Parish

I've managed to piece together an imperfect but sound direct paternal line tracing back to a James Oates, born around 1660 in Perranzabuloe Parish, Cornwall. He married Elizabeth E(i)vans (maiden name Perry), the widow of a Richard Eivans or Evans, in Albermerle County, North Carolina around 1694. His progeny slowly made its way to Texas over the next 11 generations, btw...

I'm curious about the Cornwall Oates clan and if anyone has any information or resource suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
