The christian name Philip is used in the families around Kenwyn and Truro areas at that time.

Dates would be useful. There are no records of the marriages or baptisms, except possibly of Thomas, in the IGI.

It would be useful to get more info on the most recent family and I suggest searching the Census records;

This may be a time consuming job but should result in positive results. I would start in the Kenwyn and Truro areas and work from there. The 1841 Census should show Thomas and wife.
