Good morning, everyone. I've been searching this forum for a while but am still running up against a brick wall when it comes to my maternal grandparents.
My grandmother's name was Elizabeth Savidge, born to a Ralph Savide and Flora Oaks. Flora was born around 1885, the daughter of a Frank Oaks (born 1859) and Kate Fleck (born 1867). This line of my family was from the Broad Top/Northumberland/Sunbury area of Pennsylvania.
I have had a very hard time finding more information about this side of my family. If anyone has information on this line of Oaks, could you PLEASE email me? My address is ckribbs@gmail.com. Any info or clues you can provide would be very much appreciated. I am open to the possibility that I may have some things wrong, including the names of Flora's parents, although census records from the area seem to confirm them.
