Mrs. Betty Kilpatrick McClain 84, widow of Math McClain, died early this morning at the home of a duaghter, Mrs. Robert Russell in the Mt. Joy communtiy.
She had been ill for nine months.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at Mt. Joy Cumberland Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Ralph Matlock and the Rev. Don English. Burial will be in McClain cemetery. The body will be at Williams Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home.
Native of Perry County, Mrs. McClain was a daughter of the late William and Melvina Cooper Kilpatrick, She had resided in the Hohenwald until moving to her duaghter's home when she became ill.
She was a memeber of the Cumberland Prsbyterian Church.
Survivors also include five other daughters, Mrs. Chalmer Oaks, Nashville, Mrs. Alice Thornton, Springfield, Ill. Mrs Martha Hurst, Memphis, Mrs. Raymond Hamm, Santa Fe, and Mrs. Graham Duncan, Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Tom McClain, Loretta, and Turley McClian of Mt. Joy; a brother, John Kilpatrick, Linden; and 40 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
