I am looking for info on the marriage of Frederick Plutchak b. 1880 Michigan to Mary Magdalene(sp?) Oaks. All I know of Mary Oaks is that she married Fred Plutchak sometime between 1910 and 1913 in an unknown place. Census records for their children say she was born in Michigan. She died between 1917 and 1920. Fred Plutchak is listed as a widow in 1920 census.
Fred Plutchak lived much of his early life in Menominee County, Michigan. Around 1908 he bought land in Gregory County, South Dakota. He is listed as living there in the 1910 census. By 1920 he is in Tioga County, Pennsylvania and Butler County, PA in the 1930 census.
Oaks could be spelled other ways: Oaks Oakes Ochs etc.
