Jane is having trouble posting (she lost her password) but she gave me a message for you.
Isaac is not one of "ours", but she found a book about his family and copied it before she realised that. Considering the date of the book, the author may have died.

'The book was a homemade variety titled "Descendants of Isaac Oakes/Oaks". Written by William Oaks in Renton, Washington. I wrote to him twice and he never answered. "Published" in 1985. Won't be in any library I'm sure. Loose leaf book. Union County.' [I think she means North Carolina, which would be just southeast of Charlotte].
