Hello! I am afraid I don't have an Isaac Oakes which is not to say there isn't one, lol. Until you start unraveling a family tree you just have no idea how many branches and twigs there are. Here are some names and dates compacted in hopes one or more may ring a bell. If you see any that sound familiar let me know and I will see what further information I have for that entry. I can tell you from papers we have that Harriet was only 8 yrs old and her brother Joel 4 when they walked the Trail of Tears from Mississippi to Oklahoma in 1832. They settled in Choctaw Indian Territory in Oklahoma and lived in as well as established small towns there. All of the addresses on envelopes dating back that far are in Oklahoma and that is where Thomas and Harriet met, married, lived and died. I am sorry I cannot help you more at the moment, but if I can at a later date I will surely let you know. Good luck! Delilah Jenkins Notify Administrator about this message?
