Hello Nancy,

My name is Dan Schivone and my email address is dan.schivone@worldnet.att.net. I recently discovered that my maternal great grandfather, john peterson, was one of four brothers from Sweden who jumped ship from the Swedish navy while in New York Harbor. Two of the brothers took the name Nystrom and two of the brothers took the name peterson. I was aware of Hans Peterson being the other peterson brother, but the generation who would know the Nystrom names have all passed away.

John Peterson settled in Princeton Minnesota and had a very large family, including my grandmother. I would very much be interested in who the Nystroms were, although my godmother thought one was named Al. And, especially, any information about where in Sweden these four men were born.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Dan
