Hi Denise!

I am amazed at the numbers of Nylanders there are in the U.S. I have never met another Nylander, other than a close relative, so I was very surprised. I even read one posted by a Niki Nylander. She spells her name with 1 K.. not two like mine...but it was weird to know that someone else has my name..HA! I don't really know if my Grandfather Nylander had brothers who came over and ended up in another state or not. I do have some old letters from Sweden and I hope to read them over the summer. I was fortunate in that I responded to a note posted by my father's brothers son! Can you believe that? We had lost contact over the years when my uncle moved to CA. I have never met him or his family. The only thing I can suggest to you is to keep posting inquiries. Familyhistory.com is where I responded to my 1st cousin. You also might want to post an inquiry there. I'll keep you posted if I discover that any of my relatives ended up in MN.

Thanks for writing & good luck...Nikki
