Suzanne,

This seems to be the family of your August Nyberg but Kyrkheddinge is NOT near Göteborg. August left from Krykheddinge but wasn't born there.

The story about Göteborg probably started because they left through the port of Göteborg.

I don't see the father but perhaps he left earlier and only was registered "out" of his parish because the rest of the family had left. He also might have accidentally been left off when the original record was created or when the cd was made or the source number was listed incorrectly or ??? I have found missing people (found on Emibas but not on Emihamn) when I found the arrival manifest. (I don't have information on the name of the ship but at that time period, they took a "feeder ship" from Göteborg to Hull, England. Then they took a train to one of the main ports in England, such as Southampton or Liverpool, and boarded a larger ship for the rest of the journey.
