Hi Cathy, Thanks for all your help so far. Thru this forum I have actually met a descendant of my gg grandfather's brother William. But now for my new problem. I requested another copy of my great great grandmother's will per you suggestion. I was doing it wrong I had to end up calling the Historian's office. But when Hattie Tylee's will came here. It list's my great grandfather Clarence Lafayette Tylee as an adopted son. It was a surprise to my grandfather because he always thought he was the one that was adopted. Do you have any suggestions on how to located where Hattie and Caleb registered Clarence he was born Jan 23 1891 about and Hattie died Feb 1900. It looks like the will had Clarence added in (the handwriting is different)and it say adopted son with no rights of inheritance. So I figure they must not have had him very long.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank again for all your help Sandy
