Hedley McVeigh is on the 1900 census in Middlebury, Wyoming Co. with Fanny & two kids, Capwell, 6 & Isabell, 5. I`ll type that up below. In 1910 his wife is a widow still living in Middlebury with Capwell & dau. Abby, 15. Abby is probably Isabell using her middle name. Her mother Ellen Capwell, 68, b. NY, is living with them. In 1870 in Middlebury Frank & Ellen Capwell are listed with Fanny. I`ll paste the index info for that below. In 1920 Fanny & Capwell are are still living together in Middlebury & I think he is in Buffalo on the 1930 as Franklin C. McVeigh, 36 & single, an inspectorin a brass factory.
There is a SSDI listing for an Abby McVeigh who died in Nov. 1976. She was b. 16 April 1895 & her SS card was issued in NY. Last residence is given as Cobb Island, Charles Co., Maryland. This could be Abby/Isabell, dau. of Hedley & Fanny. She may not have married.
