MATRON of the INSANE ASYLUM -- Mrs. E.J. FARNHAM has been appointed Matron of the Insane Asylum by Dr. TILDEN. This lady formerly occupied a similar post in Sing Sing prison, New York, and is said to be remarkably qualified for the position.
